Duke Power State Park, NC
August 9-11, 2002
Duke Power State Park is located on Lake
Norman, about 30 miles north of Charlotte.
We had a wonderful assortment of water-related
activities, including canoeing, kayaking,
sailing, power boating,and tubing, thanks
to several of the troop's parents.. A number
of scouts were able to earn the Small Boat
Sailing merit badge on this trip.
